Surprise Upgrade - August Pin Announcement (Patreon)

We’re so sorry for the delay in announcing this month's pin! We had originally intended on having the finished pins on time however once they arrived in our shop we found that one of the most important colors had been replaced with a sickly yellow enamel instead. This resulted in a delay and a bit of a headache as we wanted to try to see if we could get the corrected pins returned to us for August’s shipment. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like we will be getting these pins in time.

Luckily, we had been working on an extra special pin that we will now be offering as August’s pin of the month! We had prepared a Luna Moth Dragon pin to coincide with this month’s Smaugust theme, featuring transparent resin wing detail. We were going to offer this as a deluxe preorder since the pins size, resin detail, and overall complexity caused the cost to be so much higher per pin but we would rather offer this as the pin of the month than to delay the August shipments any longer. This is our first time using resin details in a pin and we’re thrilled with how it turned out! All Patrons who are currently reserved for August will be receiving a deluxe Luna Moth Dragon pin with transparent resin wing detail. After this month, the pin will only be available at the previously intended retail price of $20. We’re so sorry for the delay and the mix-up but we’re glad that we had prepared an awesome pin that can take its place! What do you guys think of this design?
