New commish of Maya's Vtube model Julie! 

Maya had a fancy model made with new outfits and wanted a piece to showcase them. We got: one piece, frilly swimsuit, and a gold bikini with tshirt combo.

Since the outfits were a bit focus of a piece, I wanted a pose that would showcase them well. I went with this one in an outdoor shower setting, which makes for some cool framing and lighting, and let's us do some soggy action. >:3

Speaking of the soggy, this is some of my best water rendering yet. The lighting too, I think. I've been doing a lot of thinking and studying about how to better use shadows to heighten the look of the lighting. It's a really hard problem, and I think I have a ways to go till I understand it more deeply, but I think this piece shows good progress.

Lastly, I just want to say I'm particularly happy with how the hips came out. In the moment I always feel like I have no idea what I'm doing, but it actually came out kinda sick. I'm pleased. =v=
