Botan (hi-res) (Patreon)

Commish for Merit of the lion from Hololive. Checking another off the list.

This is actually a contest entry for a pixiv contest going on! I don't tend to participate in contests anymore - I find my art tends to not be the kind of contest type - but Merit offered to finance it and I came up with this interesting idea so I took it on.

Why go to the beach when you can enjoy it from the comfort of your own room? Pretty interesting take, and it was fun to flesh it out. The lighting was quite complex. I kept going "oh, the light from here is probably gonna reach here. And there's probably gonna be light reflected here. And..." until it looked like this. :p

And ya. I don't have big hopes but it'd be nice if it did well in the contest. If you're a Botan fan, thank him for commissioning this. ;p
