I thought it'd be fun to go back and do a modern take on the very first iteration of Chinatsu's design. :3

Back when I had a whole 250 followers on DA (I wonder, is any of the patrons among those people? :p) I made a commemorative piece featuring a tribal/ girl-of-the-wild inspired character. Tan skin, long messy hair, full of trinkets and scars and a cool  mature air about her. I liked how she came out so much that I decided to draw her again shortly after that. And then again. And again. And as I drew her more and more I quickly streamlined her design and made her more urban, till we get the Chinatsu design of today. :> 

I experimented with some new vegetation this time. They look both better than I expected and also not quite as good as I'd like. Frustrating but I can't help it, will need more research and practice. :p
