Not sure if it's just the overalls (farmer) look, but the first thing I imagine is a Garfield and Friends style of cartoon with the farm shorts and everyday life silly scenarios for them.

Hmm slice of life with whacky moments and hearty writing, a "feel good" type of show, but with slapstick comedy. And character development in the mix to play with the audience's hearts. And out of wishful thinking: Kroko makes appearences too XD
