Myanmar MV Scene 23-25: Finished! - Behind The Scenes (Patreon)

From the last post about helping my friend animating an MV against dictatorships.

Scene 23-25 are done! A sudden shift of tone from happy to sad within  a second! See the previous scene here.

Here's some behind the scene.

Always start with a board from Ye. This one is simple, a character pop up with smile and holding a three fingers symbol. But how can I made this interesting, that's the challenge.

I made a rough animatic, showing that he will shows up with big smile, eyes closed, before nodding and bounce back to a big smile and eyes open.

Then Keyframes. Just two this time, beginning and the end.

Breakdowns! You see he pop up almost hit the ceiling before reach to the end key.

Passing Positions. 

Then In-betweens and the rest such as overlapping or fixing here and there.

Same process goes to the scene 25 as well
