Breakdown time!

Here we have 25 cuts for this 2 minute short and a  3 types of layer illustrations here: the full CG background that needs to be painted in full detail, a CG emotion bubble for when characters are thinking, and a blank/abstract background that needs just one or two colors to show their emotions. Then, these are combined into three continuous BGs which are a mix of full CG and the abstract one.

Lastly, the color scripts. I never did this before so I'm sure once I finish each scene, I'm totally gonna change the overall tone for sure, haha. But it's nice to see the whole picture in an overall color tone, from a soft, happy palette to the next, filled with emotional tension, etc.

That's all for this week's update! Now it's time to animate them all!

I will update all the processes in the SD section first, once each scene is done, and then I will update it in HD and with movie file/clip studio file on PSD. I plan to invite some of my animator friends to help, too. Stay tuned!
