Lessons from his old father (Patreon)

I love my little restaurant It's been in my family since my grandfather's time it's never been much of a deal just a little burger and fries restaurant in the middle of a street full of buildings and offices but I'd do anything for it and my loving employees So when the quarantine started and my business was at risk there was only one option and that was to remodel the place.
In summary the restaurant was fine it was clean, smelled a bit of grease and maybe needed a bit of paint but nothing I couldn't fix in a couple of months while the whole situation in the world was sorted out.
Despite having a young son who was supposed to inherit the family business one day he didn't seem at all interested in helping me remodel the place unlike my best friend and star chef Michael. he had been working for me for over 40 years he never missed a single day even when sick to supervise his replacement he was a true friend and he was also a stubborn old man.
While I, Michael, remodeled the place, my son George only showed up when he needed to pay for his gym membership or to ask me to give him some money to party with his friends or impress a girl.
“You spoiled that kid so much” Michael told me over the years that he was working with me every time George made a scene at the restaurant, inviting all his friends from the gym to eat and drink for free without even tipping the waiters. At first I thought Michael was exaggerating but over time I understood that he was right and I was just using myself to be lazy and live without working all these years.
So I made a decision I decided to give my son a lesson and Michael a reward for all the years he had been an unfaithful employee and my best friend. I had kept this stone for years, I bought it on my first vacation to Mexico, I still remember that Michael became a restaurant without even thinking twice.
Supposedly it was the fragment of a larger stone, some kind of meteorite with the strange quality of swapping the bodies of two people. I simply had to ask the stone for my wish during a full moon and it would do all the work. he had never used it and had nothing to lose.
I took the stone from the restaurant safe where I had kept it and made my wish, I wanted to trade places young and muscular Son George with my obese old friend Michael. I thought the stone would do something but this one just even said it out loud -am…stone? can you swap the body of Michael and George?...please?-
but nothing happened, the only thing I had was an expensive and shiny paperweight in my hand, I decided to put it back in the safe and went back home to deal with one more of my immature son's tantrums.
but when I walked into our house the first thing I saw was Michel in George's apron with a huge grin on his face as he flexes his hard biceps in the kitchen mirror.
-Buddy, please don't be scared…but it's ME Michael! - I decided never to tell the truth to those two. Michael seemed quite content to be young and handsome once again and my son George… well let's just say he got what he deserved other than an early retirement and we didn't talk much he spends his time holed up in Michel's apartment drinking beer ,playing video games and eating junk food.
I think he feels a bit embarrassed about his new belly and bald head, but I don't feel bad about him he needed to grow up one way or another.
Meanwhile the new Michael has become more involved in the business and thanks to the fact that he is now quite attractive he has brought more young customers to the restaurant and even some not so young ones who delight in the sight while George cooks shirtless and occasionally goes out to eat. greet customers and introduces himself as the Son of the owner. That boy fills me with pride, he will be an excellent heir to the business. the strangest thing of all is that the stone disappeared from the safe after I used it, not that I care much I don't think my son “George” needs any more lessons from his old father.
