I thought it would be a good idea to have an alternative cover for Aya's route (since it's going to be its own game, kinda), but I'm not sure about the result. The illustration is beautiful, of course, but I don't know if it portrays the themes of the game well. The thing is, I can't really afford to have any of my artists work on another cover at this moment. I'm not even sure if what I had planned as a bonus for Aya's path will be feasible.

So yeah, just wanted to share the illustration with you guys and see what you all think. I could easily reuse the current cover, but I think it's kinda boring.

Nice piece of art in any case, if you don't use it for Aya's coverart, I'm sure you could find a place for it somewhere else. Perhaps in the one of the Bonus Eps, maybe even from a future suggestion that centers around the theme of this art itself. It's generalized enough in nature to be easy to make a story out of. Luca chadlaxing with a couple of his bounties that he stole from an old high school buddy. The narrative facets are limitless from there I dare say.

I think that this cover is very interesting as it definitely sells each girls status on Luca's totem pole so to speak. I say go for it as it looks cool enough to use moving forward for Aya's route.

I like it and I think it's a good idea to use it.

Why not make it part of the game? Maybe it fits one of the endings

It is a beautiful image, but as you said, it does not necessarily capture the themes as well as the original cover. The first cover of Promise is one of the best NTR game covers I have ever seen, so it would be hard to compete with it anyway. If you want to use a different cover, there is a good argument to do it for simply the change of pace, but as you clearly think based on your own words about this, it is not an obvious choice. Comparing this and the new cover, the most drastic differences are the poses of Laura and Aya, which are very nice but represent somewhat different dynamics. Another thing is the center focus of Luca; in the original cover Luca is almost a background thing to the girls front and center, and his face is cut away. Here he is in all his glory, yet somehow he seems less sinister and gives much less NTR vibes. The scene also heavily gives the idea Luca is presenting a scene to the viewer, whereas the old cover was portrayed with the characters kinda in their own world. I wonder how the image would change if the attention of the characters was directed at each other. Aya has such a nice expression, and as I have said before, she really has outfit game. After writing my thoughts above, I actually think that this fresh image has revigorated my interest in Aya route, so simply putting out new art had an effect. It really is an image that makes you want to know the story behind it.
