Sprite Preview #3: Sam (Patreon)

Sam was supposed to have a sprite since V0.1, but because my first artist disappeared on me (and for various other reasons) it took a lot more time to put my hands on it. I know some developers prefer not to depict their MCs (mainly for self-insert purposes), but I think Sam has a strong enough personality that most people wouldn’t self-insert as him—at least, not entirely. Also, it will be less awkward during Beth’s perspective if he’s visually portrayed. I will be adding his sprite in the next update, but I will only show it as a side image (bottom-left corner) when he speaks. I think it would be too intrusive to have his sprite pops up every few minutes during his perspective.

On another note, I still plan to release the next update by the end of this month.
