Sprite Preview #1: William's Sketch (Patreon)

Here’s the sketch of William, Sam’s (the protagonist) oldest friend. His look pretty much reflects his overall personality.

My sprite artist never did contact me again (which is a shame), so I was forced to commission another artist that I worked with on older projects. And when it’s all said and done, I think he’s doing a fantastic job. The two art styles seem to blend well together, though we’ll have to wait until the coloration is done in order to see if there’s any real problem of uniformity.

For now, the next build of the game is still planned for the end of the month, although it will depend a lot on the pace of this artist. I still have another sprite that I need after this one before I can release the update.
