I wish everyone a happy new year ! 

Thank you for your support throughout last year. I see new people joining each month and noticed it accelerated in the last few months so I guess some recent changes to the models made more of you interested which is great.

I think it's a good time to make a small recap of 2022 because a lot of things happened. Also I'll talk a little about what's coming in the future.

It happened in 2022

• 41 models released so a little bit more than 3 per month (Anakin, Leia, Padme, Faith Seed, Motoko (x2), Batgirl, Quiet, Cassie Cage, Chun Li, Chun Li Fortnite, Lulu, Morrigan, Azula, Joel & Tommy Miller, Jack (ME), Rikku, Samara, Shani, Syanna, Kait Diaz, Dani Rojas, Julia (ManofMedan), Ciri/Triss/Yenn/Trilla/2B/Faith Connors updates, Rey, Rita Wheeler, Cara Dune, Bo-Katan, Yuriko Watanabe, Tracey & Amanda De Santa, Senua, Serana, 2 environments)
• Pose Library & Outfit Library 2.0 releases
• Rig new features : mirror mode, face rig, IK loop fixes
• Switch to genesis 8.1 bringing improved expressions
• UI updates : major performance improvements, ability to keyframe most features, foldable menus, many new features (french nails, fangs, elf ears etc.), and finally the unified UI.

What's coming in 2023

More models obviously. 

We might switch to a genesis 9 base at some point but it is really different from gen 8 so retrocompatibility will be lost. It means the pose library or the outfit library for example won't work with the new gen. So while the expression improvements are noticeable and interesting, I'm not all too eager to switch either and for now all daz ports remain on gen 8 so we're sticking with it until further notice. The gen9 skin improvements I mentioned in an earlier post aren't actually that great after further examination and my current skin setup is actually better in most situations.

You can expect some outfit library updates as well, I'm not sure yet how I'll release them, one by one or as a bigger package. 

I hope to be able to bring some more UI improvements too, there's still a few things I'm trying to fix regarding custom outfit properties to make things more polished.

Also I've got a feature announcement for the feet enthusiasts : I've invested in NecDaz morphs so the upcoming models will have his shapes. The old morphs will probably be removed.

On other news, 2023 might be the end of twitter for me. I've deleted all posts on my main account and am thinking about what I'll do next.
