Hi everyone,

I have some more good news regarding the UI : it's now much much faster and a lot more things can be keyframed. Sadly blender doesn't allow to keyframe custom properties so I had to rely on drivers more than before but overall the speed difference is stellar so I believe it's worth it.

Video demonstration : here

Can be keyframed : expressions, hand, eyes & mouth poses, most skin and makeup options, body type sliders.

Some things that remain slow and won't support keyframes : hair color, veins color & bloody mess color, ik/fk switches, lists

In the video you'll notice I changed the way things are displayed too : color selection now appears only when you activate the corresponding makeup option, lipstick types also only appear if you activate the lipstick option.

I'm also improving the body materials so that they look more detailed. Depending on the twitter compression you might be able to see it on the video. The easiest is to look at the lips, especially the gloss : lighting is exactly the same but you'll see more reflections in the "after" part. The skin has more "grain" as well.

I'll also remake the wet maps using rigid's assets. I'm honestly not satisfied with my current one, nor rigid's, but using his will mean less textures to load so better performance.

Finally, no promises but if there are features you'd like to see added, let me know in the comments

Seriously amazing stuff. Keyframe animating using the UI is going to be really nice - I can finally forsake the finicky attempts at opening and closing eyelids reliant on 3 bones. As for extra features if you have the time for them, I guess a few more tan skin patterns wouldn't hurt :)

Awesome!

Man, you are doing the Lord's work here :D The only thing that really comes to mind to make your standard of models rival the top of the top at the moment would be implementing a library with some poses, similar to what Mustard's stuff has, but that is my lazy ass speaking :P

Tan lines would require more textures so I prefer not. What I could do is add an alternative texture in the shared textures package that you could use instead.

I already have some hand and heels poses in the models but that's probably not what you're asking for. By library you mean inside the model or using the asset browser introduced in 3.0 ? And what kind of poses are we talking about ? I'll add that you should be able to reuse any pose you've made with any of the models since they all have the same armature.

Sounds like a plan! Thanks for entertaining the thought, if anything. Looking forward to what you've got in store for us, as always

What I meant was there was like 50+ poses these models came with, I saw a good amount of them also on other armatures like in Arhoangel's Overwatch models. I do most of my posing by hand but these are always great as starting points.

I see. For me it wouldn't make sense to have that many poses in every model, especially since poses have a noticeable impact on file size. It would make more sense to have a single file working as a library from where you can append poses when needed. Anyway, you can easily find free daz poses that can be used with all my models (import pose button), few examples : https://www.deviantart.com/hemi-426/art/Freebie-Hemi426-Sitting-Pretty-Poses-G8F-865446021 https://www.deviantart.com/dividebyzero718/gallery/81207165/freebies https://www.renderhub.com/sabelirria/cute-poses-for-g8f https://sharecg.com/v/98624/browse/21/DAZ-Studio/AF-Action-Puppeteer-and-Preset-Poses-for-G8F
