Still stuck on a name for her, the Name Venus was suggest to me and I instantly really liked it but I too also love the Name Raquel. Which suits her more.

I suggested Venus because the new hair reminded me of Botticelli's 'Birth of Venus" painting which is one of my favorites (look it up if you're not familiar!).......but the name of the Goddess of Love is perhaps not appropriate given the likely death related antics of the character!!! 🤣

Sorry for the delay in reply. I had learned through some posts and conversations over the course of the last year that one of Miss Lani's very favorite films, as it is mine, is The Shawshank Redemption. One of the finest, most emotional scenes is when the warden discovers the main character, Andy, has escaped without any sign of how. He begins berating those around him, and when no one speaks he turns to the poster in Andy's cell, a famous poster of actress Raquel Welch in a fur bikini from the film One Million Years B.C. The warden, still looking for a reply, sarcastically demands from the poster " what say there fuzzy britches". And that is the reason Miss Fuzzy Britches needs a Raquel. I hope I have not given away any of Miss Lani's secrets. After seeing her Miss Catalina character, I think it is safe to say Miss Lani can "out Raquel" even the most famous Raquel.

Aha! Thanks for that, I knew there must be a reason. Yes I knew about Lani's love of that movie but I don't have suffcient ecall of the detail of it to have joined the dots.........................but when I saw the name, Racquel Welch was, coincidentally, the first name that came into my head!!!
