"Veronica Mars is smarter than me" is a quote I saw a lot, before I got around to watching the show. And yes, the Veronica Wallace friendship is incredible. And I'm so happy that they haven't done anything to hint at any kind of romance or crush or anything. Not even going the Xander route, we don't see Wallace seeming to have any kind of unrequited crush on Veronica. Just pure platonic buddies. But the best buddies.
