I hope you go back and watch this show again once you are done. There are SO MANY moments that are hidden that only make sense in retrospect. For example, when Dominic was brought down from the attic (in Victor's body) he calls Dr. Sanders "Whiskey." Adele (or someone) passes it off as alcohol and says he just needed a drink. Really he was identifying her as an Doll. There are these moments littered throughout the series. Also, there are BIG hints to the time period. For example, this episode points out "first black POTUS." Being that this was released starting in February 2009, it was right after Obama was elected in November 2008 and just a few weeks after he assumed the office on January 20, 2009. People were excited and so there are some lines like that. For example, a few episodes ago they said "Yes we can," which was Obama's campaign slogan too. There are a ton of other little easter eggs from the time for this show! Then, there was a reason I wanted you to watch Battlestar Galactica first. It was Joss's favorite show, so he used a ton of lines, actors from that show, and little copy-cat moments for Dollhouse. If you ever watch that show...come back and watch this to see the Easter Eggs. There is usually about 1-2/episode. I think because BSG aired from 2004-2009 and it was VERY fresh in Joss's mind and the viewer's minds. There is a lot of crossover audience between that show and this show due to the topics. Also, for the next episode...pay close attention. There are little clues/moments in it that pertain to the next season. Much like Buffy's 422 "Restless" episode. Also, one of the songs in the next episode is written by two of the writers on this show, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen. It's sung by Maurissa herself. You can look out for that and will probably know it when it comes on. There is a pretty disturbing music video for it on YouTube that stars the actor that plays Topher and Maurissa herself.

Oh...if you want to find the music video it's called "Remains" on YouTube and I'd suggest typing in "Dollhouse" too. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNtORr6RsJ4 Allie if you wanted you could even react to it. It doesn't have any Dollhouse spoilers. Just DO NOT read the comments under the video. I didn't see any in the top comments, but just to be safe.

I didn't get to watch dollhouse live, I watched it streaming, with episode 13 at the end of season one, but I'm ambivalent about the watch order with it. Interesting either way. What I really want to comment on is Alan Tudyk as alpha. As someone who was a HUGE Firefly fan (not to mention A Knight's Tale being a childhood classic) to say I was surprised by the reveal is an understatement. Casting him against type may be my favorite decision made for Dollhouse.
