I'm not sure how Alley (or anyone) can dislike the episode as much as she did while also liking Lawson's story and his actor's performance. To me, that's why it's a good episode. It was built around his character and performance and he did a great job in my opinion. Nothing wrong with disliking the episode of course, but enjoying the Lawson character and hating the episode seem like an odd combination.
