Hello!! So I logged on to patreon today and saw they made the amazing change from the "always charge on the first" to "charging new patrons on the same date they join every month."

This has been something creators have been giving feedback on to patron for so long so I am so happy they made this change. For new patrons, subscriptions will be so much easier.

For example: if you join on the 10th of the month, you will be charged on the 10th of every month after that, as long as you stay a patron.

>> For current patrons, THERE WILL BE *NO* CHANGE! <<

Unless you stop being a patron, and then become one again, you will STILL be charged on the first of the month.

Just wanted to give a quick update incase anyone new comes onto my page, or if anyone is leaving for a month and then coming back, I want to make sure everyone is aware!

After this is posted, I will be changing it to this method.

Also side note: Angel Wrap Up will be postponed to Thurs or Fri (I started seeing a new psychiatrist that started me on some new medicine and it has made me so tired all the time.. I feel horrible that I keep postponing things, but I have been exhausted. I am going to do my best and get this video out to you all before the end of the month!)

Thank GOD, that was such an annoying system! Thanks for letting us know!

Awesome so I can cancel & restart on the day I want to be charged! Thank you 😊

Take care of YOU! We will be here. :)

Hmm.. I wonder if that will reduce the payout to creators due to increased payment fees. The advantage to creators of everyone getting billed on the 1st was that charges were batched and costs were split.

OMG I am SO MAD. J/K someone always has to be in dissent. This is great. I get paid on the 3rd. This helps with the budget. A lot!

For me personally, it doesn't matter, but I'm glad that it will help others

I have the feeling that creators were perhaps thinking about their patrons in this matter. They likely understood the difficulties some of them have in keeping up with payments. This is just a theory of course.

I really hope you are ok, with that hurricane over there :/

Not that I'm canceling here but I noticed with other patreons it still says you will be charged at the first of the month still? Like if I go anywhere and try to pledge right now it says it still automatically renews on the 1st. Unless the creator has to change it themselves?

Alley: "After this is posted, I will be changing it to this method." So I guess that means the creators have to change it themselves for it to take effect.
