3x15: "Loyalty"

Next: Angel 3x16 on Wed 8/3

OKAY HOLY SHIT THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD EPISODE??

Hamburger prophecy aside, this was suchhhhhh a good progression for the prophecy and HOLTZ (HOLY SHIT WE GOT HIM THIS EP AHHHH) and even our girlboss Lilah?? fuck it up girlie

I am soooo pumped for the rest of this arc. I am legit bursting with excitement as I type this bc I gotta know how this will go..

Also just Wes this episode being an absolute icon, ugh, I love him. I didn't even really feel like we were missing anything even though Cordy isn't in the episode, which is saying something bc I love her so much lmaoo.

But yeah... Cordy.... please never leave, everytime you do Angel Investigations literally goes up in flames 😐 pls come back <3

lol anyways hope yall enjoyyyyy! :D

I agree that the last line feels out of place. I believe, like some others have said, that he’s talking about his own blood dripping on the blanket. We do know that Spike has tasted his own nose blood, so, ya know?!

Personally, if Angel wants to call Wesley a snack, then that's what friends are for.

Yes Spike sent a Vampire to film when Buffy fought another Vampire the day before Halloween back in S2 (episode Halloween).

Wes, my guy, you could use some sleep. I feel like Wes is slipping into madness as this episode goes along.

Wesley really annoyed me the first time I watched this episode for not talking to anyone about the prophecy I understand why he didn't want to worry angel with it being his son but I was like things would be so much better if he communicated I imagine there is some awkwardness between him with fred and gunn now being a couple and that might be why he didnt talk to them either haha still this is a great episode season 3 is just so strong imo

Aubrey just didn't seem that attractive to me from the start.

Dusty

I tend to forget about this episode when I think of Holtz. That scene with him and Wesley was very good television.

Ron Fehr

I just don't understand Fred's attraction to Gunn. Just saying.

I love that you're enjoying the production aspects! I'm a video editor, that audio before the visual with Aubrey, that's called a J-cut, the inverse being an L-cut. If you think of your editing timeline having a video track on top, and an audio track on bottom, the pre-lap audio (before image) starts first, making the leg of the J. if the audio extends beyond the image, the leg is longer the other way, making an L.

So with the "noise thing" when they were at the park, you can pretty much assume that was ADR (automated dialogue replacement). 70% of hollywood is shot this way, especially when shot outdoors in public areas, there's pretty much no other option but to get the actors in a studio and dub over the scene. Sound is one of those things that has to be shot perfectly, and when you're outdoors this is impossible.
