Next: Buffy 5x05 on Tues 10/5

Now back to me crying because of Bethany 😭😭😭 This poor girl, goodness, I am crying in the club. But sheesh, this episode I fucking loved, it was so well done imo and all the Darla stuff being added in, even Lilah being in this ep "helping" Bethany... hmm sneaky sneaky Wolfram & Hart.

So interesting how this season is starting outttt! I seriously am so excited for the Darla thing to continue and how that plays out, as well as Bethany! I hope she gets another episode or comes back at some point, bc I really like her character

also yes.. I am wearing the same shirt as my last upload... 😳 whoops

And just mentioning here in case you forget/havent seen this episode yet, I put a TW for discussion surrounding child SA/abuse, there is no depiction of it, but the episode mentions/hints to it and I discuss it a bit in my review (I only put the TW before my discussion bc I never know if I should include them before the episode bc most of you guys have already seen the shows, but I will always include it if I discuss it in reviews)

Hope y'all enjoyyy

I know I’m a bit late to this discussion, but I have only now gotten round to watching your reaction. I honestly have mixed feelings about this episode, I was sexually abused by my stepfather when I was a child and he later went to prison for it. Therefore there are certain parts of the episode that I find a little uncomfortable, I really dislike Cordy’s behaviour toward Bethany in general, particularly the comment about her having a “weird sexual vibe” and the borderline victim-blaming conversation she had with her while shopping. However it is a good episode and the actress playing Bethany is brilliant. I loved your observation about Angel and Lilah’s stand off at the end of the episode, noting that while Angel thinks he has the upper hand it’s actually Lilah that does.

This is a touchy one for sure. Before you put this one on YouTube I’m going to suggest, of course up to you, that you might put a trigger warning up at the beginning of the video. I’ve seen some other content creators do this, I’m certainly going to do it when I get to this episode, because for someone who may have experience with this kind of content in real life this could be very triggering for them. But aside from all that I thought you did a wonderful job with his commentary. Onto the next one!
