Xander wasn't mad at Buffy for rejecting him, he was mad at himself for misreading everything. He handled it horribly, but that was who he was mad at. I love your reactions to this show. It's making it new again for me.

He took about a day before getting over it. I don't think he handled his rejection horribly. If anything, he handled it admirably. He correctly spent some time listening to sad music. And got over it. What more can you wish for, really?
