I think swim club Keane is competitive with Onyx…partly because a) he's in the swim club and therefore naturally competitive and b) he likes/is attracted to him and enjoys teasing him. Also maybe because of the reaction he gets from Onyx (the fluster and the blushing). I don’t get the impression that Keane’s ultimate endgame was to have sex with Onyx (I doubt with Keane's personality that it was that well thought out! 😅). Also in the last chapter Keane alludes to the fact that he can’t quite believe that Onyx has agreed to play around and he's surprised when Onyx is willingly touching him…so, I don’t think he had those kind of expectations at all!

Can someone clarify if Keane's endgame for this entire...."thing" with being "competitive" was to have sex with Onyx? If so, he could have gone about it so many different, better ways.
