7/27/24 Check in - Progress, delays, and learning (Patreon)

​Hey all,

It's been a while, and I wanted to give everyone an update on what's been going on.
Unfortunately, it's busy season for my IRL job during the summer, so time to work on the game has been scarce. Add on top of that the fact that I had to visit family for a few weeks during this month (can't really draw monster girl tits at a family reunion), and progress has been much slower than I would have liked.

However, it's not all doom and gloom. I've been trying to make the best use of my free time, and I've spent it learning to use a 2d animation program I've never tried before, but that has been on my mind for a long time. There have been multiple requests for smoother animations during intimate scenes, but the amount of time it would take to draw to draw a decent amount of frames would completely kill the update schedule of the game. While this program isn't quite as good as a lovingly hand-draw 30 fps animation, I can make these animations in about the same amount of time that it would take me to make one of the 3-5 frame animations that are currently used in the game. So, without further ado, I present ​progress​:

All of the intimate scenes in the coming patch will be animated using this program, and over the course of the next few updates, I would like to go back and remake some of the existing intimate scenes to use this style of animation as well.
