Been playing around with plugin 'IdlePoser' for a few days already.

With this plugin, I'm able to build the pose library much more efficient than before.

I've included some of my poses posted before into it & the outcome is quite surprising.

Now I'm adding more to the initial standing pose pack with it.

The standing pose pack consists of 9 sections now.(Each section has its own way of logic of controlling each body part)

  • Head & neck(34 options)
  • Chest(15 options)
  • R Hand(76 options)
  • L Hand(30 options)
  • Hip(24 options)
  • R Foot(17 options)
  • L Foot(26 options)
  • Eyes Direction(16 states)
  • Shoulders' shrug(7 states)

All randomly played(not in loop but randomly played)

So the total number of variations is already very very large

(34x15x76x30x24x17x26=12,334,982,400 variations without considering the last 2 parts).

Considering there're quite some options are similar to each other(for immersion, so your eyes can't tell if this pose has been seen before, thus bringing dull feeling to you), maybe the total number of the combinations is a lot less. Let's say all options are cut down to only half of themselves. And the number is still very large(96,367,050 variations).

  • And the most promising & interesting part is the library can be easily built up within 10 hours of work if you're familiar with posing(I personally built up the library to this state in 2 days most) & pause whenever you want & then save it as a new pose for you to load later on or edit upon to add more variations to it.
  • Also,it's very useful for you to capture a screenshot immediately or look for inspiration of poses(just load the plugins presets to a character & check the plugins )
  • All you have to do is play it & pause whenever it feels interesting & save it, so within a few minutes, you got yourselves a bunch of poses to select from.
  • And it's quite easy to edit to your own taste, just delete the pose data within each section, place a new one of yours & the outcome can be quite different & fit to your customizations.

I'll post this scene on HUB in a few days for everyone to try it with the plugin(maybe more options by then). Until then, I'll do the check & refining job to make it more pleasant to use.

Again, thanks to the creator(MacGruber, one of the heroes of the community). He is the one that made this concept of combining postures of different body parts possible.

(The 21 screenshots of the GIF above took me about 2min to finish)
