their "producer line" is reallyyy coming into themselves it's amazing, soyeon did superlady wife revenge and fate, yuqi rollie and doll, minnie 7days, and vision was minnie and primarily written by miyeon (her first credit on an idle song!)

At least three members have been participating in the writing and producing of their albums since 2021. In this album '2' Soyeon has credits for the entirety of SuperLady , Revenge, Fate, and Wife's lyrics, as well as taking part in the composition and arrangement of all of those. Minnie has lyric credit for Vision and 7Days as well as credit for their compositions. Yuqi for Doll and Rollie. And Miyeon took part in the writing of Vision as well.

Loved your reaction! I definitely listen to Revenge and Doll the most but its mostly mood dependant. If you ever want to try reacting to their past albums i recomment checking if the members said in what order to listen to them. The album with NXDE for example was recommended to be listened from the last to the first song by Soyeon

Thank you so much for this!! yees! first album reaction from Gidle, i'm glad you like it, the structure of their songs usually are different than others with the lala's or Soyeon in particular cut out the 3rd chorus, is depends on what they want to say. So you are a fan or Minnie songs! she is the romantic one you would always find that kind of vibe from her in their albums, 7days is for the fans she said that want us to be happy while listen to it 😭 I don't know if Wife would be fully promote but yes that could be one, they sang Fate in a tv show recently and did a tik tok challenge with Rollie (hilarious 🤣)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think you meant a marionette when referring to Doll - it's a type of puppet but it's the one that has the strings attached to a wooden cross like shape at the top. I'm both terrified and excited for the future of this group, terrified because these girls are not quiet about the fact that they dislike their company and have made it very clear that CUBE would practically have to give Soyeon CEO rights before they re-sign. Excited because they've also made it clear that they want to continue making music as a group together. In the end we've been very blessed to have had them for this long given that they debuted at all under CUBE. Soyeon willing them into existence despite CUBE never giving her any help or seeing the potential in her members like she did. Eventually if you end up going back through their discography I think you will be amazed at not only Soyeon's creativity and progression but Yuqi and Minnie's abilities as well. Overall I'm just happy you got into I-DLE to begin with, as they deserve all the love in the world!

Not counting Wife and SL, my favorites are Revenge and 7 Days, and the funny thing is that even though musically Fate is not my favorite, the lyrics really resonated with me, so those would be my top three. I've seen them doing a Rollie challenge, but considering the amount of brands they mention, maybe that's not what they'll be promoting. P.S.- I'll Make You Cry 🤝🏻 Revenge.

only a quarter way through! but just wanted to note about their themes and how you touched on that you like the lyrics. their albums tend to have themes and sometimes have an order for example their album I love is meant to be listened backwards and it tells a story! I really love their lyrics, their words are so empowering and are really relatable! they actually speak about toxic relationships and actually touch on the darker subjects! I do find that their TTs are super fun and catchy but their bsides are so different in the best way !

Vision and Rollie are deff my faves they are so good nobody is talking abt vision but that song ATE!! Their best album is def I never die but u have heard a few songs from it

You should do like a deep dive on idle because they have so many great songs that don’t get the recognition they deserve.

Thank you for reacting to idle! My favorite songs were also Vision and 7days. If you want to listen to one of their cohesive albums, I would suggest listening to their mini album I-Love (Nxde was the title track) and listen to it in reverse, starting from track 6. I felt that all the songs tied together the best and described the stages someone would go through for their journey for self-love.
