I loved this stage and new jeans 'GODS' stage! It was super cool to watch, i don't really know about League of Legends either but the energy was crazy!

I really proud of baekhyun soooo much speechless 🥹

This was really good! its a competition and the performances were the intro for two teams to compete. I dont know much about lol too haha but yeah it's very big. theres a lot of teams across the world to compete. It's sad that these live streams dont really show the live vocals. I watched like a video from the venue and the raps and vocals were heard more. I guess it is hard to like record and stream the sound from mics live(?) idk much about technical stuff like that. Really proud of Heartsteel and the members individually. And ofc soo proud of Baekhyun he is very passionate about the game so He must be soo happy to be Ezreal. Thank u Caitlin for this! Wishing u everything the best!!

Thank you for the reaction, Caitlin! The second verse you liked is performed by ØZI, he's a Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter and rapper. I only learned about him after this collab, so I don't know much, but I listened to his recent EP 'ADICA' and I loved it. The self-titled song ADICA (After Dark I Come Alive) is now on repeat in my playlist, it's kinda has this alternative rock vibe to it?, so thanks to LoL and Baekhyun for making me discover new artists haha. Btw, Baekhyun really did so well, he's one of the best idol performers I've ever seen, even in 2023.

wait caitlyn hasn't reacted to k/da yet?

I've been playing league for almost 10 years and this game is huge in South Korea. BTS, Stray Kids, Xdinary Heroes, and so many more idols play it in their spare time. This year it was hosted in South Korea so the crowd was huuuuuuuge. Ep 114 of Run BTS has them meeting and playing games with SKT T1, a professional LoL team and the team that just won (Faker is the only player still on the team from this and he's won 5 world championships and is considered the best player in the world.) Cal Scruby is an American rapper, Øzi is a Taiwanese rapper, and Tobi Lou is a Ghanaian rapper.

Last year, Jackson Wang and Lil Nas X performed at the World's opening ceremony. Lil Nas's song Star Walking was actually made for the LoL worlds theme last year

The camerawork didnnt do justice to Baek’s performance at all! Like he ATE that and was giving 100% energy and live vocals and dancing AND facial expressions that we don’t get to see with the official livestream, so i suggest if you have time or want to, to watch a fancam, there are plenty of them on YouTube it just looks so much better ( on your own time of course) ☺️

I am a big fan of League, and the ceremony is one of the most awaited for fans every year, we always have great collabs and stages. K pop groups are something that this game incorporate on their songs since 2018 and i am glad that a lot of groups and also several artist from other genres of music could be selected to perform here, Is a great oportunity to discover new artist! Also this year my favourite team of League won!! so im so happy lmao Thank you for the reaction Cait!!

League of Legends is extremely huge especially in Korea. Almost anyone under 40 will know about League of Legends in Korea. T1 (a korean team) won the World Championship this year and the president of South Korea congratulated them. Also League of Legends (e-sport) is the most watched sport in Korea that's how big it is.

Morgan Fryer-McCulloch

There's a LOT of info in terms of League and Riot and what they do lol but to anyone who is new to the scene and has only heard of it kind of, I like to start with one simple fact that puts it in perspective: More people tune in to watch Worlds (the League of Legend final tournament) than the Superbowl. Think about that. The video game industry pulls in more money than the movie and music industries COMBINED. We're just quieter about it lolol

Ayeyassha

fun fact Caitlin that warriors song that San danced to recently (imagine dragons) was actually a League of Legends song for Worlds 2014 similar to New Jeans song except it was for 2023. So there are a lot of popular league of legends songs. (G)-idle has also worked with them many times!

Baekhyun is such a stud 😍 I’m falling in love all over again 🥰

Baekhyun slays!! The talent, aura, just him being there is insane. Proud of him.

2023-11-26 12:38:15 League is really big in Korea! This year's finals (and the whole tourna) happened in Korea, and the most popular team in the country (even in the world, I guess) right now happened to be one of the two finalists, which explains the amount of people in the stadium. Mind you, this happened in Gocheok Skydome which has around 18k-25k seats and it was sold out. That is how big esports and LoL in Korea is.
