SHUT UP?!!!! I am beyond so proud of them for this project and how open they were! This album is their best and I can't wait to see what else WAYV has for us in the future! NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY! My boys will be alright! 🤍

Yes they are doing a showcase tour of this new album in China and I went to one of the stops last Sunday. OMG it was fire af. They performed On my youth, Invincible, Rodeo, Poppin Love and Lighthouse. Best show ever! The only problem is that it was too damn short. I cannot wait for their concert!

Some info here. Lighthouse was recorded 3 years ago during Covid, so when they say "I miss you I miss you I don't wanna miss you", they literally meant it coz they missed their fans so much at that time.

You are my favorite reactor when it comes to wayv, you always give the boys so much love. This album had everything I could have wanted from them as a group. It's hard to pick a top three but mine would probably be No One But You, Moonlight, and Rodeo. Moonlight is Moonwalks little sister, gives me all the same feelings on the first listen and just feels so wayv to me. Thanks for your reaction!

Kun was recovering from his injury when he wrote Be Alright. He was touched when seeing fans singing Love Talk with members on KCON. So he decided to write a new song for members and fans as a fan song to sing together. He hoped to tell fans that ‘everything will be better in the future’ through it. I just…… cannot…… I LOVE WAYV SO MUCH😭😭

On my youth album is so so sooo good! My top 3: on my youth, moonlight, be alright🩵 Kun wrote be alright when wayv was in kcon la without kun, he wrote it while imagining he’s on stage with wayv and imagining a better future for wayv🥹🥹🥹🥹 God i love them so much🩵

WayV has a lot of meaningful songs. This album is a new beginning for them and personally the best album thus far. Can’t pick top three because all of the songs are so good!

I hope that your break is doing you good 🫶🏾 I was so happy to relisten to the album with you! I always love seeing your emotions and hearing your thoughts about each song. I am enamored with the whole album, but if I had to choose a top 3, they would Poppin' Love, No One But You, and Moonlight or Be Alright. The album is full of amazing songs and I love how On My Youth and On My Youth (English version) are subtly different from each other. They did a great job making the English lyrics tell their own story and I like how they used slightly different takes from the Chinese version in certain areas, even when they could have just used the same ones because those lines were already in English. The harmonies and ad libs across all songs were heavenly. WayV really showed their growth and versatility in this album. I haven't been able to stop listening to it since its release.

I forgot to mention these two things! WayV might have a recording behind for On My Youth this time! Kun did a live (I'm sharing what the translator on twt said) where he said they had to pout while song "blame it on my youth" so he was worried they'd look ugly in the behind the scenes video, but that it was fine since everyone would be able to see the effort that they put into singing the note. Kun was the one who suggested that strings be added towards the end of the song to take it the next level, so SM found a musician to record the instrumental. When they recorded the MV, they did it to the version of the song without the strings, but when he did get to hear the final version he was happy/fulfilled. So thankful to him for that because it was PERFECT and just what the song needed.

wayv is a group that means a lot to me, they are my one and only group since 2019 and i’ve been here with them all this time. it definitely was hard, when i tell you i’m such a weishennie to the bone, but at some point i felt like i couldn’t bear it anymore so i was like i wanted to quit and stop caring for them but i couldn’t, i waited for them so when phantom was announced i promise you, i cried watching the mv for the first time. i love them so i can’t imagine how difficult has it been for them all these years about everything yk. it makes me mad the way sm gives them long breaks between comebacks because they should be having lots of activities to be able to consolidate their fanbase, still love everything they do and their achievements. hopefully it’ll be a new beginning in terms of promotions and exposure for them, they really deserve it. so i want to say thank you for loving them so much and giving so much love. hendery id my favorite member since debut so seeing you freaking out over his lines, that’s so me😭 and i hope you are doing great these days, please take care of yourself and stay healthy!! my top 3: On My Youth, Be Alright and maybe Rodeo? but i really love this album soo much! thanks for reacting❤️

Wayv never disappoints. I was obssessed with Phantom and Im obssessed with this one too! I absolutely love Be alright, No One But You, Invincible and Lighthouse. Im so proud of the boys and happy that they are busy promoting in China. They deserve the world. My happy pills.

Chinese music tend to focus more on very poetic and meaningful lyrics. Sometimes it gets a bit much as the lyrics are too dense in traditional cpop (they don't focus usually on simple catchy hooks), but Wayv found a good balance

so glad I'm not the only one who feels a change in the air with wayv. this was my favorite nct project of the year, it reminded me of old school boy bands in so many different ways. specifically bsb with the harmonies and the ballad...bangers? I'm so incredibly proud of them and their growth. sooo ready for so much more from them next year. 🤞🏾🥹

It took awhile for me to really like "On my youth" mostly because it sounds so different than their previous releases and I hear the chorus part so much on TikTok. I don't know why but everytime I hear a song first on TikTok, it kinda ruins the song for me (not completely). Example are "Lie with you" (Ten) and "Impossible" (Riize). I don't know. I'm just weird. Both are great songs but I heard some part so much on TikTok, it just feels different. (one of the reasons why I don't like main stream songs including western songs. cause I hear it so much.) I do love "On my youth" now. The first time I heard/watched it, it reminds me of 2nd gen artist like "Infinite" (they released a lot of ballad type of songs sometimes with a hard choreo along with it) and "Nuest" (mostly from their song "Hello"). I'm not comparing by the way. I love me some Infinite and Nuest that's why they are the 2 groups that popped in my head right away. The time I got to really like "On my youth", I felt like tearing up. (I did shed some tears, not gonna lie.) I haven't heard much of the song on TikTok anymore. That's one of the reason. I could finally appreciate how beautiful the song is. Just staring/watching the MV and just focusing on the song made me realize how much I love them. Like, I feel so sad for them from the things they went through and going through. They deserve the world. I remember in Jonathan's show (I forgot the title). All NCT Units (except NCT Wish) appeared on that show. I don't know if Ten was being playful or half serious or I'm thinking too much. He was low key upset they are the last unit to appear on the show (127 and Dream appeared first). Ten said "We are NCT too". Giiiirlll.... they are aware they are times they are not treated as NCT. I suddenly felt sad when he said that cause...he knows. They feel it too. I wish nothing but the best for WayV. I'll love them forever.
