I feel like a proud mom! I can't wait to see them in action but I hope it isn't too rushed. It was so fun seeing them playing games with each other and laughing!

I agree, I think an NCT World 3.0 would be a great way to introduce the new unit to the rest of the group (who in their eyes are probably still kinda "unreachable" in a way), and I'm sure it'll really endear the older members to the newest younger members too! I was thinking about a similar thing, and was thinking a program sort-of like an Awsaz would also be a quirky way to really break the ice between the new unit and the other neos. I'd love to see the new unit interacting with their favorite hyungs (like, correct me if I'm wrong but I think Riku had mentioned in his bio that Mark was one of his idols, just for an example), but I'm still very excited regardless for all that this new unit will achieve. 💚 Was fun to watch with you every week, Caitlin! Definitely a safe space I consider far away from all the negativity online, I really appreciate it ✨

Also Jisung said he is a Hyung now and he would treat his dongsaengs well if he gets the chance to be close to them. AND Ryo is 3 months older than Sakuya so that makes Sakuya the forever maknae of NCT

when it was announced, I didn't care at all for the "new" nct tokyo, I wished the best for them and for ppl to treat them nicely and with warmth but I didn't feel any type of interest towards the new unit whatsoever but I'm so thankful to you for reacting to lastart because, one day, I just decided to look at your reaction, just out of curiosity, and by watching the show with you I got super invested and now I'm extremely EXTREMELY excited for their debut and I already adore all the members so much (especially sion and jungmin). I can't wait to see what their sound and look will be like once they debut. I do hope it won't be too soon, just because they do need to learn to work as a group and I feel like they need a little bit more work if they want their debut to be as perfect as it can possibly be (espescially because the disposition of fans towards them is already bad, so I want them to wow everyone with their talent). I personally liked the show however I do wish during the missions they had made us spend more time with the contestants while they were practicing, maybe it's just personal thing because I love to see that type of content, but also because it would've given us more insight into the members, made us feel more attached to them, made us see their hard work, their mistakes, how they fixed them or how they didn't etc. I feel likewe didn't see enough of them, in a way, so it was a bit harder to connect with them, so much so that by episode 6, when they decided who to was going to debut, I still didn't know all the members names ever there were only 11 of them. But it's probably just my issue because it takes me a while lmao. This last episode was super fun and I'm so so glad we got to see them as group and have fun. at the beginning of the year, before nct 2023 was announced, I thought the new nct nation that we were going to get would be accompanied by something like nct world 2.0 as a way to promote it and also to fully introduce the nct tokyo members (I thought this before sungtaro left). Sadly that wasn't the case :( Anyways, I couldn't be happier about the line up and the trainess that I wanted to debut ended up in the debut line (still teared up a little at the beginning of this episode tho lmao what can I say) , can't wait to see more of them!! I genuinely with all my heart want nctzens to be welcoming towards them, debuting is hard enough and nerve wreaking enough, debuting when so many people don't want you to debut must be so hard.

I was thinking about Yuta and from what little I know about him, I feel like he prefers genuine interactions and doesn't like to play to the camera. On top of that, he put himself out there to Shotaro and Shohei, neither of which stayed/joined the group. So maybe he felt like he didn't want to get attached to anybody before everything was official.

I think during his Weverse live just yesterday. Some fans on X and IG translated that part about him being a hyung now. He said he will forever be the maknae of NCT dream though he is no longer the maknae of the entire group.

I think one thing as well is that the new team is yet to officially debut and SM are being careful about those interactions. Some fans/haters were already saying that the new team is riding on NCT's popularity, etc.

I guess that would make sense specifically with a Japanese unit, but they did it with the rookies in Welcome to NCT Universe. Also, any new group is still NCT. I wonder if people said the same about WayV and then they freaking blew it out of the water. The hate towards people already having established fans is stupid. Riize is a super talented and charismatic group, but they also have Sungchan and Shotaro, who earned fans for 3 years through showing us what they can do. This new group will do that too 💚

This episode was a rollercoaster for me. I sobbed with them at the beginning and giggle along with them as they played games. I think it was such a necessary episode and I’m so glad that they included both parts. Even though it’s heartbreaking it was good to see that range of emotions from those who were debuting and those who weren’t and how they loved on and comforted each other. Although, I do cry every time I remember Kassho saying that he wanted to debut with his hyungs. My baby! I wish they all could have debuted together 😢 I went from not wanting to watch the show and thinking I wouldn’t pay much attention to the new unit to knowing that I’m too nosy not to watch. So I begrudgingly tuned in as soon as the first episode came out and my heart was hooked by the end of the episode. It’s been such an honor to watch their growth, both in skills and in opening up and expressing their personalities in front of the camera. I hope to one day see the trainees that weren’t chosen debut and wish the absolute best for them and NCT New Team! Thank you, Caitlin, for reacting and holding space for positivity in the fandom. It’s been a joy to rewatch episodes alongside you, even if I didn’t comment every time 💚

Thank you for reacting. Caitlin I really appreciate all the positivity, excitement, and hope you have for the new unit and NCT overall. Especially lately since the departure of memebers, the debut of Riize, all the negativity the new unit is getting is really not deserved. I've been following and watching hard core Nctzens such as reactors like yourself for years now and its quite surprising how your the only one who seems to be excited, supportive, and tried to keep postive about the new unit. Ofcourse its okay to feel unsure and confused about the whole situation but to not even want to invest time into them because they want to hold them to Riize debut or other NCT units standard blows my mind. All the trainee have worked hard and at the end of the day they don't really have a choice when or which group to debut in. I'm sure their just finally happy to debut & perform in front of fans. Anyways I just really want to thank you for keeping positivity in the fandom and showing love and support to the boys. I'm soo excited for their debut & to see them bond with the rest of NCT. I'm already in love with all of them as a unit & as individuals I keep learning and loving them more & more. I'm pretty sure I already have a bias line but I'll keep waiting to learn and see more of them to be certain.

i cried and than laugh watching this episode n i also think NCT 3.0 is a great idea 2 years down the road. We finally see how SM get a great group together n the fact that there was no audience participation is a good thing...let the professional pick the members and let the trainee learn the ways of their craft the right way.

Caitlin! So nct nation japan was streamed today. I know you reacted to the korea one but the japan one showed the new unit performance plus 127 chain, dream best friend ever and wayv love talk was added on the setlist! AND the quality (video/camerawork&sound) is so much better! If you cant react to those, you should totally watch on you own time! I KNOW for a fact that you will enjoy it
