Rum Pum Pum goes so hard! Honestly it would've made a great title song (no hate to U lol). Even though ikon is known for their hip hop side, their ballads are always top tier! And Yunhyeong's (Song's) trot song was SO fun LOL I'm so happy you checked out their album! I really enjoyed listening to this album with you! <3 (btw Like A Movie is probably my favourite :))

I just experienced their TAKE OFF WORLD Tour for 2 days straight in Seoul the other day and yesterday..I just wanna cry now coz I want and need more of their concert 😭 I heard all of the songs from this album live with freaking live band and live vocals..they're just amazing, iKON is really different! I love them more everyday! Also, prepare yourself for DK's Kiss me solo performance, our guy will kill you, he's dangerous, i tell you 😳

Loved loved this album. I like the more upbeat hiphop songs from iKON, but they have some of the best sad BOPs ever, like the lyrics are so good and relatable . I think for now my top 3 are 1. Never forget you. 2. U and 3. Like a movie. Btw. I heard Jay will come out with a solo album second half of this year…. Can’t wait😊

I'm happy for your reaction. At first listen, when it was released, Rum Pum Pum was my favorite. I listened without knowing the meaning of the lyrics. When lyrics and english translation were out, I cried so hard in Never Forget You. Some of their songs hid behind a sad love story. Instead of interpreting it as a break up song, I thought of an original dream that I almost achieved, but was not able to. So I just, let it go with a smile, thinking maybe it wasn't for me. I'll just settle with what I have with a smile but deep inside, I'm still thinking of what could have been. That's why Bobby's lyrics "I wish people like me could create destiny with hardwork" hits hard. These words won't make sense if you will think of it as a love song.

I just bought the physical album of this because I love the inclusions especially the Passport Book thing where it says "To all personnels, we kindly request to provide every iKONICs in possession of this passport the necessary accommodation and protection to ensure their comfort and safety in supporting of iKON.". I think that is so sweet and special. I'm not sure if other groups did it, but I think the inclusion and their merch this time is a lot better than before.

I purposely subscribed here to watch your reaction to Take Off Album! Personally, I like this album more than the rest of what they did probably cos they were more hands-on on this with a lot of involvement of the members. HIPHOPKON is IT but BALLADKON is a diff level!! Up to this point I haven’t picked my favorite on this album yet as I’m having a hard time picking BUT Rum Pum Pum, Like A Movie, Never Forget You (the electric guitar at the end always kills me) and ofc Driving Slowly are just solid tracks!! And I did go to their Taipei stop for their World Tour and seeing iKON perform live is just something you wouldn’t want to miss in your life and so I’m planning to go to every stop in Asia that they have as much as I can and afford 🥲😆. It’s so nice to see people appreciate and recognize iKON’s talent. There isn’t much music show stage for this cb (only 1 U Mcountdown stage) but they did perform in university festivals (WHICH WAS ALSO SO HYPED THAT THE AUDIENCE ASKED FOR ENCORE WHICH DOESNT USUALLY HAPPEN FOR UNIV FESTIVAL TO WHICH iKON COMPLIED AND GAVE THEM A SOLID ENCORE). Their live stages are just so insane and very underrated. And just to give you some updates in case u didnt know: - JU-NE also dropped a solo OST “Accidental Love” from the drama he acted on called True to Love the same day the Take Off Album dropped - JU-NE dropped another solo outside of iKON’s album called Night Flight which is a KRNB track?? a week after Take Off Album - JAY is coming out with his solo album this July/August - BOBBY is dropping another album this August? And another one before the year ends - Another iKON rumored cb before this year ends I might be missing a lot more but they are blessing us with lots of contents and schedules that they weren’t able to do and have before 🥹. Hoping you could react to more iKON stuff if your time permits and if you ever want to cos they do have a lot of variety and good contents. One of my faves from them would be iKON Idol School Trip where they went to Jeju with a group of Japanese girls to strengthen Korea and Japan friendship?? And it was pure fun. It was released back in 2017 but it still is gold to this day. And also iKON TV is the best reality show for me of them. They also did a lot of other stuff (mostly camping, Weekly Idols (4 eps as of 2023) ofc, and a whole lot more that I’m forgetting. Getting into iKON is one of the best decisions I ever did in my life 😆. There’s this insider joke that we have in the fandom (Once you iKON, you can’t iKOFF) hahaha. All in all I’m happy to see iKON’s freedom and the joy they have now after a lot that happened with them. No pressure but I would want to see iKON more on your contents when you finally want to check them out more and I promise you, you wouldn’t regret it. Much love ❤️❤️

I guess most of the time, iKON's vocal line is overlooked with how good and strong their rap line especially with Bobby and BI before but iKON is one of the few balanced group imo in terms of vocal and rap line strength. Also, iKON makes rap on sad/ballad songs fit so well. Very rare for ballads still sound good even with rap on it
