This video almost took me out for a week because I lost all of the footage when I went to end the video but thank God that I had a back up file 😭

I'm so happy you got to this album! It's such an iconic album. It's been almost 9 years since i stanned EXO and still songs from this album are my all-time favorites. Iconic indeed. It was the first album to make me fall hard...at the time I was sold as soon as I heard "Growl" and then the mv took me out!! I was gonna conclude that Exo may be too poppy for my taste, but the vocals slayed me...FELL IN LOVE. Also at the time I had discovered Bts with their first album "2 Kool 4 Skool", which I bought along with "XOXO", and I was so infatuated with that Bts album it floored me as well! I could not get enough of their "No More Dream" and "Bulletproof" mvs, I was insane about this new group! I needed more! But the two extremes, one group giving love vocals and the other slapping me in the face...I became a huge multi fan of both! Different sounds and styles, that's what a music lover loves about music. It's beautiful! 💙🌺

Listening to Heart Attack just reminds me of one of their concert VCRs with the appearance of pre-debut NCT Dream. If you ever have a few minutes to watch it, it is such a huge serotonin booster!

Honestly, Wolf is my least favorite song xD I will bop to it if it comes on but definitely not something I will play on my own. And you're right; the lyrics are pretty intense haha This album is crazy notalgic for me. I was still a baby EXO-L(and kpop fan in general) when it was released, and I still go nuts every time My Lady or Black Pearl plays lmao. Baby Don' Cry was my Favorite song for suuuuuuuch a long time, pretty sure I can sing it in Korean I've played it so many times. Thank you for this reaction!!! It was so much fun!

As an EXO-L from 2012 it made me sooo happy to see you dive into their older discography! To explain the 'Original', Chinese and Korean versions: The wolf/ growl era marked the first time they united as one WHOLE group - up until this point you only saw EXO-M members doing Chinese songs and EXO-K for Korean songs with no overlap in members across units. The MVs for growl and wolf encapsulate all members, which is why tracks on the album with K or M ver just means it's only that unit that does that particular version. This happens during overdose too - the Korean version starts with the Korean members before Chinese members come in at the second verse (the opposite in the Chinese ver where the Chinese members go first)! Hope that makes sense! Again, as a hag-exol it honestly just gives me so much joy to know that people are still discovering hidden gems in their discography and falling more in love with their music. Thank you for this treat Caitlin! And to you and everyone who read this (if there are any LOL) have a wonderful day!

Omg thank you so much for this I had a great morning jamming to this album with you! I’m an old exol so I just love how these songs bring me back to middle school so hard. Plus ofc I just think a lot of the songs in this albums still hold up for sure. I have a funny story for Baby tho. For a time I was saying I didn’t like Baby, it was like the only song by exo that I just hated. But it was all just me being petty and clearly a teenager because the story is that back when this came out I was..14? I think? And I had no money or phone or anything to just buy songs on iTunes, much less buy the CD to be shipped to my little island (remember the times when that was all you could do legally?) so I used like sketchy pages on my computer to download songs to my iPod or whatever it was (SM if you watch this: I’m about to turn 24 in a few days and I now stream legally, pls don’t take legal action 😂 I was a child). Thing is the site never downloaded Baby! I don’t know why and I didn’t even notice until maybe 2 years later that I found the song on YouTube and checked out what album it was from. AND I WAS SO DAMN PETTY I swear I’m so embarrassing, I just got mad that I never heard this (frankly amazing) song and decided oh well i just don’t like it, that’s why don’t have it. I have no idea what was my point at all and it didn’t last long, clearly, but it’s hilarious to look back and every time I hear the song now I just wonder what the hell was up with me, like it was just a mistake! Hahaha maybe cause I was young and being a fan then meant you just had to support and know everything or you weren’t legit? Some immature stuff for sure, ah but it’s a good laugh.

I just watch it. I recommend to listen also to exo m. They sang differently but with the same emotions. It will be a breath of fresh air for sure. Somewhat u will be able to hear the ex exo m and will know the almost every exo l first love luhan (KEKW)

I love it when people react to Wolf's lyrics. Yea it is like that, it's a cringefest hshshsh. Baekhyun talked about the lyrics in his interview with MMTG. Do watch if you have the time, Jaejae (MMTG MC) is funny and I love her interviews. Even with groups that I don't really stan. The album is kinda like a fairytale-ish, Wolf with Beauty and The Beast, Baby Don't Cry with The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan which is self explanatory. I LOVE Baby Don't Cry, even now I get goosebumps hearing it like. Heart Attack and Let Out The Beast is fun to sing along to. Thank you for the reactions, Caitlyn!

Don't Go will always and forever will be my favorite Kpop song. As a granny Exo L, I fell inlove with it the first time I've heard it then later on, EXO performs it at the end of every concert, along with Angel. They dedicate this to EXO Ls. I love them so much! Also, Peter Pan is the cutest song with the saddest lyrics. It always makes me so emotional.

my favorite fun fact is that EXO themselves didn't like the Wolf SO MUCH, that they intentionally sang it "awful" in demo, so SM won't include it in the album. you can actually find the record in the internet it's hilarious
