I am very glad that Seungmin got this opportunity. Stray Kids is my fave group, but they are very rap heavy and he doesn't get to showcase his vocals a lot. ATEEZ is pretty rap heavy as well, but you can ALWAYS hear Jongho in the background. So, I'm happy for Seungmin in this one.

ArléaneIsAya

Love Poem is also my number 1 performance out of Kingdom it's just perfect from start to finish. It's been years now but I do hope Inseong truly didn't beat himself up to much like you said one mistake does not determine the fact that he is good. Jeongin made one mistake during I'll Be Your Man and he is still an incredible vocalist. Both of them are so good and i love them. We're only humans mistakes happen and we can always do better next time. God's D4 is obv my second ;)

Hadassah Henderson

OMG, IM SO EXCITED TO WATCH THIS! It's going to be the first thing I do when I get out of class. I will comment more once I actually watch it😅

Morgan Fryer-McCulloch

Immediately switched over to watch this hahaha Im hyped for your reactions

C.Lyse

I'm telling you right now, you're not ready for that EXO performance by the The Boyz. 😂 It's sooo good.

Anonymous

Yes! I'm so excited! Couldn't wait for this one! You do your own pace girl, I know it's hard to find time.

Mel

Yay, so excited for this! I couldn't wait to see your reaction to Love Poem - it's my favorite stage of Kingdom, even though it's the simplest and least flashy. It's the one performance I go back to all the time. I showed it to a couple of friends who know nothing about kpop and they couldn't believe that those three weren't a group because their chemistry and the way they worked together was so perfect.

Anjuliq Nelson

I’m so excited for this one

Hadassah Henderson

On a separate note, your makeup looks so good!

Grace Park

Yay! I loved your reaction!! And also if you can or when you have time, I hope you check out The Boyz someday. They are an amazing and talented group! I just recently became a Deobi (fandom Name) myself but they already became one of my ult groups!! So I highly recommend checking them out and stanning them when you have the chance!! I love your videos! Your videos always make my day!! I love you Caitlin!!

2021-11-14 19:29:06 btob has been around from 2012! i think you can try pronouncing eunkwang's name as "oohn-koo-ah-ng". and yeah ikon (except chanwoo) have known each other for a long time, they competed in the survival show "win" in 2013 as a team of 6 (B.I, bobby, jinhwan, ju-ne, yunhyeong and donghyuk were in team b) under yg entertainment which was against their current label mates "winner" (for obvious reasons bc they won) after which yg decided to put them in another survival show, this time called "mix & match". this was in 2014 where the goal was to debut as a 7 member team, with 3 new competitors (chanwoo, hongseok, jinhyeong) and nine of them had to compete equally to stay in the label, which means the spots secured by the original team B could be taken. fortunately the original 6 members held onto their places n debuted with chanwoo who blends in perfectly. hongseok ended up debuting under cube ent. as a member of pentagon n jinhyeong is a solo artist. so i guess thats why you can easily see a lot of chemistry with ikon they fought really hard to debut and watching their old survival shows predebut still breaks my heart as you can imagine.

I think that on the Key Reaction featuring Taeyeon, many people were telling you to check her out, but yes, that was the same person you saw in the video. She's from Girl's Generation, which is a legendary kpop girl group that I definitely recommend you check out or even just Taeyon's music, such as her recent comeback Weekend because it's so good. Even just on your own time, it's so worth it.

Hadassah Henderson

Also, if you want to see the moving parts of the Stray Kids stage, I recommend that you watch the fan cams, specifically Han, Changbin, Felix, and Chan. They all had so many moving parts, and if you end up watching them, I think that you will be amazed at how much cardio they had to do running in between set pieces and climbing things, as you said. It's one of the most iconic and legendary performances of Kingdom, and I'm so glad that you liked it.

This was such a good episode- Love Poem is such a beautiful song and it's crazy how everyone performs it slightly differently, so a different feeling emerges. A.C.E have an amazing performance of it as well , which suits the recording they did (you should definitely check it out when you have the chance) , while Mayfly's performance works so well for this epic emotional competitive stage. And, of course, the original is a masterpiece. SKZ's Ddu ddu ddu was SO fun! Looking forward to next ep!

I've watched so many reactions to Love Poem in addition to watching the performance on my own, and it never fails to make me cry. The emotion and devotion the three of them have to music are just so clear and prevalent. Specifically, Seungmin's part toward the end is when the instrumental gets quiet, and you can hear his voice so clearly. So I understand the tearing up that you felt cause sameeee. It's One's performance was also soo good it never fails to give me goosebumps. While I get what you were saying about the cohesion aspect, I felt like the theme of this song was the spark of a singular idol. I thought the distribution of the music worked to their advantage to give each member a chance to shine show off their talents. In the end, when they came together, the individual parts made it that much more powerful, which is what I think they were going for. As a singer, I can empathize with Inseong (The one who sang the high note); sometimes, the pressure builds so much that you can either choose to go through with a note like that or amend the note to be shorter or lower. I think it's admirable that he went through with it because it showed courage, and he even was able to fix it and smooth it out at the end, so it was able to have some of the intended impact. I hated seeing him being so hard on himself, though I know that the result was 0:33 weighed very hard on him.

I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT REACTIONNNN!

i dont think you understand how hard I laughed every time you said "I'm not gonna pause!" and then Changbin came on screen and the video was magically paused. also I love watching the fancams for all of SKZ's stages because the cameramen lost who they were supposed to film so many times due to them literally sprinting across the stage so much, but you can really see how incredible the stage truly was as they never got a single moment to rest or chill out before their next part. i can't wait for your reaction to the next two episodes....wolfgang really made felix's abs feel like child's play and it still keeps me up at night.

Ashley Me

It's my favorite stage as well. The chemistry is amazing and vocals 😍

ThatRandomKpopGuy

Ah this next ateez performance gave me major goosebumps

Linh vu

You should react to Taeyeon! She's a former Girl's Generation (SNSD) member, but she has been a soloist for quite a while now. Her position is the main vocalist, and she's one of the most famous idols in Korea. Everyone knows and respects her. Knowing that she is under SM Entertainment, her visual is beautiful, and she has an amazing voice.

✨meganELK✨

Oh my GOD god's ddu du ddu du was the reason why I started watching Kingdom, because I saw the performance on YouTube and it was INSANE. Definitely one of my favorite performances on this show, it's so fun, chaotic, badass, all of that. I agree with some of the other comments on here, the fancams are wild 😂

✨meganELK✨

Oh, and don't even get me STARTED on Love Poem, that performance is fantastic. That thing that Seungmin does during the "I'll be there" part? Where he like, crescendos and decrescendos (?) through it and it sounds insanely smooth? SO GOOD

Yes, for your question, BLACKPINK girls saw Stray Kids performance and Jennie shouted them out on Instagram. Skz be getting attention from all these huge artists.

DeJané (DJ)

Such a good episode. The Stray Kids performance was the best of the whole series for me!

Tinkbells59

OMG IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!

Ikon's dance practices for this show are amazing, i always go back to them. This show was a good and bad thing, we got a lot of cool moments and units, but man i felt bad for how much they had to work, plus whatever else they were doing besides kingdom. They all really really worked hard.

Rikki Evangelista

iKon has been together for a long time especially Bobby, Jinhwan and their former member B.I since they trained together. Also, I think because of their survival shows appearance before debut really made them comfortable in the studio and with each other. Also since they produce their own songs too maybe thats why they know what they want music wise.

Leah B

RIP in advance for SF9 doing "Move"

Maica Rivera

Ikon's stage shows you what YG can do if they were told properly. Mnet did them dirty for the first couple of missions, without telling them that the budget restrictions were off..

Mayfly really was just setup to win these performances. I mean no disrespect to the other groups in Just One because I also love them dearly, but with Mayfly, the chemistry and teamwork was incredible. And it kind of makes sense how dominant they were: you have BTOB to oversee the vocals, Stray Kids/3RACHA to over see the Rap performance, and Ateez with the dance performance. Every member of each performance unit had equal input and responsibilities but you can kind of see how each group took the lead in each performance. BTOB are known as vocal a powerhouse, I don't think there are too many kpop stans who don't know 3RACHA and their skills even if they don't follow SKZ, and Ateez with performance...what else needs to be said? Seriously, kudos to Ateez for putting this team together and knowing what was going to work super well. All 3 groups killed it together.

I was WAITING for this episode to see your reaction to SKZ, and you did not disappoint XD LOVED this Caitlin!

Aileen Depping

The Love Poem performance makes my cry everytime....

Brie

i love how in each collab performance with mayfly, hey had each btob member center at the end...and the eunkwang guided them, the whole thing never fails to make me cry

Selande

What stood out to me the most during the Mayfly vs Its One is just how the groups meshed together. Mayfly (to me at least) seemed to click together for every group easily and it didn't feel like there was any awkwardness at all. Whereas the It's One groups, super awkward at the beginning each time. They grew closer as time went on, but even though the team name was It's One, the sense of unity wasn't quite as good as what I saw in Mayfly. Just my opinion but I think it really reflected in the performances themselves.

the one you liked from "spark" perf is Sangyeon! the boyz's leader and main vocalist, his voice is one of the best in kpop he is super talented
