I'm pretty sure this album is your first IVE album 1st listen! I'm really glad that you like Ice Queen because this sound is somewhat of their speciality imo, IVE has a lot of songs that have this darker vibe going on underneath which makes their music amazing to discover - this is also the case with Accendio, which hits 100% more without the music video tbh - don't get me wrong, I like the mv a lot, but the way the song builds and the absolutely insane switchup in the bridge kind of gets overshadowed by the plot and sound effect interruption (this is just my personal opinion though!). Also! I don't know if you already know this fun fact (lots of people probably said this already haha), but Wonyoung and Yujin were in IZ*ONE! Wonyoung in particular as the center of the group :D Accendio, Heya, and Ice Queen are my top 3 tracks for SURE!! They're so amazing, and especially Accendio really reminds me of Eleven and Holy Moly, some of their previous songs (you reacted to Eleven I'm pretty sure; Holy Moly is a b-side on the album with Baddie and also my favourite IVE song haha). For me personally, what makes those songs so great, and what makes IVE's sound so iconic is their amazing melodies and how they use harmonies/group singing! They very often create this otherworldly feeling in their music (like Blue Blood from the I AM album for example), which is amazing to hear, they're truly a unique group <3

I actually adore blue heart. It’s my favorite off of this album. If I were to choose a top 3: accendio, heya, and blue heart. I love ice queen as well, but I love those 3 more

Blue Heart always throws me back to Blue Blood which is still on of my favorite tracks of theirs. I love they always make reference to the royal blood line. They are such a good group and their b-sides are just amazing!

I love that their songs have this “dreamy” feel but then they still find a way to pull the rug out from under you. The “Woo oh woo” in Ice Queen is just 🔥. They have some awesome b-sides! I’m typically not a “cute” song person, but if they manage to find something to give it just a bit of edge I’m in. They do that pretty well for me. Love Dive! Lol But I feel what you’re saying about the bridge in the KI KI song (I don’t know the name of it honestly just that part) They need to find a way to do something to give a little different. I feel like that’s what make songs stand out and memorable. They make you go “what?!?!”

my fav album by IVE, its so good! my fav is accendio, heya and wow, cant stop listening those songs, and here in brazil we use "kkkk" to laugh the "kikikiki" remind me of that, sorry for my english

"kekeke/kukuku" is like a Japanese-style laugh in manga, so it makes sense. I think it's said like keh keh keh and koo koo koo. But for online variations, it's like "wwww"

Ah, this isn't the video reaction for "Accendio", but since I don't comment on YT, I wanted to put it here: The "Accendio" MV reminded me of mahou shoujo (magical girl) anime, especially the ponytails girl with the jewels on each of her "buns" in her hair. Like Sailor Moon-ish. Not that Sailor Moon is the only one who does it, but Sailor Moon is one of the first of the genre of many. There are a LOT of magical girl anime, but Sailor Moon is the one I always go back to in regard to references whenever I see them in media. Even non-anime stuff like Winx Club, Miraculous Lady Bug, etc. are considered part of the genre. The magical scepter (the wand you saw in the "Accendio" MV that ended up lost on the beach) also is a part of magical girl series. Just realized you used the instrumental for "New Ride" by WayV as your new intro here. Took me a few minutes, but I knew it was an NCT song, lol.
