getting them their 1st win was hard, the pre-voting was exhausting but we made it!! the app's lag during the live vote was HORRENDOUS lmfao but i love the songs a lot and i love SAW performance😭 also, the fanchants in the GMT comeback stages are so fun and loud, the members look so happy and wayzennies are so happy with their team! it really is their best comeback when it comes to promotions and exposure

wayzennies deserve all the prizes because we made it happen! it was so nice seeing japanese weishennies translating the tutorials to other japanese weishennies, c-weishennies using vpn, the members knew about us working hard and also asked us to wish for a win. wayzennies wanted mc junjun to be the one to give it to them, it was really a beautiful moment for us, wayv and wayzennies🥺💗

In the radio show wayv said some of them vote she a wolf as a title track but some of them think that the concept kind a similar to their previous album (phantom i guess) but majority vote give me that as title track as their new approach of wayv.

"She A Wolf" in the chorus, reminded me of "Wolf" by EXO (lyric-wise). The 'beauty and a beast' thing was also the one MAMA performance title for Luhan vs. Kai's dance. LOL. Only that EXO was the wolf, now it's the girl. Reminds me of NCT 127's "Favorite (Vampire)" where the girl is also the vampire (just going by context of the little promo videos and the MV of "Favorite" since Jaehyun got bitten...and some of the others are dreaming like they are vampires- namely Taeyong and Mark-but judging by their clothing and expressions, they are probably ALL dreaming they are vampires). CONGRATULATIONS WEISHEN-V. I had no idea WayV never won an award until now. What?? That's insane. WinWin, you are in our hearts. LET'S WINWIN.

"She A Wolf" reminds me of a mix of "Rain Day" by Kun/Taeil/YangYang and a SHINee song. The New Jack Swing vocals (the part you mentioned with the "She gonna get you good") element reminded me of SHINee. Speaking of New Jack Swing, it vaguely reminded me of BBD/Bel Biv Devoe's "Poison" for the vocals. Of course BBD predates SHINee, but in terms of Kpop, SHINee carries the New Jack Swing vocals no matter where they go.

Sorry, but since I'm still watching your reaction, I had to add that SM hasn't even given WayV their first CONCERT yet and it has been years. They have more than enough songs for a concert. WAYV HAS NEVER HAD A CONCERT, so I'm not surprised they were thrilled with NCT Nation whenever it happened (I mean, we all were excited, but I mean for WayV especially because it was like having a mini concert for them). About "Don't Get Mad": the rising notes in "other guys in, other guys in, other guys in the world" was very NCT-coded. Kind of reminded me of "Hello Future" and "Broken Melodies" by NCT Dream. Also "Wish" by NCT Wish. I'd have to think of an NCT 127 song, but I'm sure it's there too. Maybe "Love Me Now"? Might have to think more on that, lol.

Omg what you said about “might as well” is kinda how I felt about “phantom,” the chorus felt a little predictable and repetitive. I love “might as well” though cuz the beat and the twang is so addictive, overall I’m really satisfied with the production of the whole album but especially “she a wolf,” which apparently Yangyang spent 40 mins recording adlibs for. I always like hearing what you have to say about the songs themselves.

She A Wolf is one of the songs of the year and it wasn't even the title! Which makes me sad actually because I think it deserved the title track treatment and think it would have popped off for them. Not to say Give Me That wasn't a great title track, it was, but it feels a bit criminal that She A Wolf isn't a title track to me! Funnily enough the song that is your lowest ranked is on of my highest!

She A Wolf stage... save yourself. RUN. This whole album is so good, tho. I've been listening to it a lot. Might As Well somehow like... I was SCARED by the country. A LOT. Because the only bside I am not sold on on The KingDom's latest album is Gundam and it's because of some random southern rock/country guitars and it just takes me out of the vibe so I got SCARED when I heard the opening of Might As Well, but they really leaned in on a GOOOOOD genre blend it felt like... Saloon Sexy. HAHAHA The choices in the instrumental with the piano and the directions they went with it made it PERFECT. The chorus is like... not surprising but it is VIBEY like hearing it again over and over but with the different background elements the harmonies and the ad libs... yeah. The vibe is ADDICTIVE. I want to see them in the US. SO BADLY. P.S. - when I first listened to Don't Get Mad I was like... what are ya'll talking about all these other guys whaaaat is going on here. It does make me saaaad! The tiktoks they've been doing for it are kinda alarming too hahahahaha ngl. But yeah the feeling like they are fully committed but the person is misreading them but to them it's casual enough to just let it go over that... OOF. My heart.

They have a few live performances of She A Wolf, so you better brace yourself. Especialy the Music Core one last week, if I’m not mistaken. This album is giving me so much 90’s boyband vibes and as a auntie of that era, I am loving it!! WayV mght’ve changed their sound but it still fits them so well, I hope the next comeback later this year will be able to top this!! Excited for their tour too, later this year!! Thank you for reacting to our boys, they deserve all the love the are getting 🧡

There's a huge chance that the MV for The a Wolf isn't just a theory as it's one of the songs listed under under Movie Video Director credits in the album. Also, something to keep in mind if you watch a SAW stage, I believe there are a couple that are stages of the whole song and the others are only a portion of the song. I can't remember which off the top of my head though, other than I think that the one they did for The Show was the full song.

gosh, we have had great comebacks with Chen, Suho, and WayV all within a week or so. WayV just never disappoint. I'm so glad they got their first win on a music show after 5 years. I just wish WinWin could have been there during this milestone

I agree with you about the general public not getting WayV! I'm somewhat hopeful that this past promotion only leads to bigger and better things for them. They deserve it SO much. And side note, I think there's a performance video coming out for She A Wolf (I think one of them hinted at it) so I'm excited to see that and your reaction to the live stages!

Same, I feel upset that many know NCT but only few checks on WayV. They just missed a gem that is active for 5 yrs now. I hope that from now on, with prism as their mgt group, WayV will be recognized more and more .
