hearing your brain trying to make logic and thoughts of what is going on is so fun. It makes me really excited to the end of the show to see your reaction to the reveal of wtf is going on in this haha

Oh man, things are really amping up! I love hearing about all your theories while watching, we think so similarly. The show really makes you theorize and try to figure out all the cool mysteries and it's very fun. Things keep getting better, believe me. Loving your reactions like always, Caitlin ❤️🫰 There's a ton of things I could explain but I think the show will eventually. Also, there are some things don't get explained this season (no spoilers) but will probably be explained in Season 2, so I'm REALLY looking forward to it when it comes out! For the ghouls, the show does some things differently than the games for sure. Basically ghouls are just regular people who were in contact with prolonged radiation, especially after the bombs dropped. After that, radiation and stuff doesn't really affect them anymore and it alters their physical appearance and they kind of rot. They're basically immortal and won't die from old age, of course, unless they go feral. Feral ghouls suffer damage to their mind from the radiation and they lose themselves, they try to kill anyone and anything that's not another ghoul. The meds the ghouls need basically stops them from becoming more "ghouly," and they need a ton of it since it doesn't affect them as much as it would a regular person. That's more a TV show thing, I don't think that's explained or expanded upon in the games at all (from what I remember). Also, I totally agree with you about Lucy! I love this episode, definitely one of my faves. I think this is a real turning point for Lucy. She's gone through hell and back already, almost died for like the tenth time, and she still keeps her heart and morals. She's adapting to the wasteland, but she's not going to let it change her. She still wants to follow what she believes in and she doesn't want to become like what the Ghoul has become. She's such an interesting and cool character, and I love how her development as a character was written!
