The writers totally got me with that discussion between Maarva and Cassian, and the reveal about who Clem was and what happened to him. Because it explains a lot why Cassian doesn't want so much to involve himself in the Rebellion : for him, being a rebel means being killed, to have your loved ones being killed, and/or because of their actions civilians can get killed. And I love that scene also because Maarva represents the voice inside of Cassian now that he refuses to hear but also his future journey : you can try to hide, to run away, to not see the truth, but at the end, it's always gonna come back in your face, because the situation is bad and might get worse and worse.

I love Mon so much : this woman is so gracious and elegant, and her character really tells a part of the story I want to follow even more. All of the political aspects are so interesting, with these members of the Rebellion being high placed, taking so many risks, who risks their lives, people spying on them, people who are allies but not the perfect ones, people who might be future allies or future collaborationists who will sell you… Yes, it reminds me of a bad period of French history. Inside Rebellion is rough, people die, people fight, because they have hope, but against an enemy more armed and without any certitude of success.
