Yes, I have to confess it, I just wanted to draw During at first for his beard and his hair. To try to represent them well. And also because he's already one of my favorite characters. Because he's fun, for sure, but also because of his relationships with the other ones. With his wife that he loves and respects a lot. With also Elrond. I love so much their friendship and how loyal they are to each other. The fact he took bad to not have any news from his friend is so justified now that we know him better.

I loved also the episode in which he discovered the mithril. Because we discovered a lot about him during that moment : he was trying to prove himself to his father but also to himself, that he can do big things. He's someone with a lot of ambition and he's not afraid of crossing lines, and he wants to make his family proud, to give them the honor they deserve. That background is gonna be useful for the story which is gonna come, see ?
