That second episode confirmed to me that they worked a lot on the realism of the show, by following "normal" people and showing scenes of normal life (all of the scenes around the guy announcing the beginning and ending of the day) and by the way that it was filmed. Discret musics or no music at all, camera which is with the characters etc. The parallel between Cassian and the Lieutenant continues with one trying to escape from the mess he created and the other one who wants to do that mission he's not supposed to do. The Lieutenant because of his moral compass which is so straight, I said it, but for now he's only doing stuff because of his principles and his job obligations. It needs to become more personal for him to truly involve himself, to lead his men with more strength.

I'm clearly not a fan of Bix and Timmy's relationship here : she said earlier she likes him because he does everything he wants and here she uses him for s*x, and he can not say he doesn't see it, and also right there the fact that she's drunk and desperate. A lot of questions around Kenari for me : even if we understand now why there are only kids (the more they grow, the more they're exposed to the toxin so they die early), I don't get the thing about Maarva, who is coming from Kenari also and seems to be Cassian's adoptive mother.
