Clearly, my mood impacted my way of seeing this episode : I had so many good laughs and during the feast, I was imagining more an orgy between everyone than that fight and that end. Logical for Criston to not accept to be threatened, to kill the one who knows his secret and after that, after losing all honor, to have the idea of killing himself. Thank you Alicent for stopping him ! These two can be so good for each other, she needs a protector for her and her kids, he needs to redeem himself and he can continue to serve the crown by serving her. I was so proud of Alicent in this episode : the girl is finally growing up, not accepting to be used and she shows some strength.

I don't know if the King died right here or he's gonna die during the next time jump (maybe we're finally gonna have the big one ?), but I don't agree with his way of seeing his reign. He was tested, to enter into history, with the Stepstones or by uniting the two houses himself with his wedding ; and he failed these two tests. Daemon on the other side really doesn't care about anything anymore : to kill his wife, to come to the wedding, to be that close to Rhaenyra in front of everyone… The girl was angry at him here because, on the contrary in Criston, he's not offering her to leave, he's just telling her what to do, judging her, and knowing perfectly it can't be changed.
