THE FINAL SCENE WAS INSAAAAANE ! I predicted that, for how the season is built, the end of episode 3 could be important since episode 1, but that much… For sure, the battle was epic, with vibrant music and then amazing scenes, with that plan and the surprises during it. But Daemon was the real deal : he was brave and clever, he made such a risky move. And the writers made a good parallel between the King and Daemon : the first one who refused to fight for three entire years and doesn't even know how to hunt a deer, the second one who didn't give up on that fight he judged right during the same three years and made such a brave move.

If the second episode was all about who the King should marry, this third episode was for Rhaenyra and her future husband. The fact that we have a new time jump at the beginning here is logical with the writers who want to take us to a certain point, but it's already the second time, we know we're gonna have another big one, and each time, it's new situations, it's characters who changed… They have to be careful to not use that "tool" too much and too quickly.
