Hello !

This second episode is as amazing as the first one, visually it's just impressive everything that they've done. Again, pictures and musics, colors and lights, it looks beautiful but at the same time realistic, like we can almost feel it, be into the moment. For how it's written, they're continuing with the situations created before but they're adding new stories, new characters. A lot because Elrond is going on his own path, with that forge which needs to be created and the reunion with his friend Durin.

We have some pretty cool moments during the episode, in particular in Khazad-dûm (which look so good !). The writers showed that they know how to write really good friendships, deep and honest ones, like here with Elrond and Durin, but also between Elrond and Galadriel, or Nori and Poppy. But, and it's the only bad thing I find with these two first episodes, they are really not subtle with how they write love relationships. Too much of the musical theme for Arondir/Bronwyn, and for Galadriel… I don't appreciate the idea of a love interest for her so early, and like that, the cliche "enemies then soulmates".
