I didn't expect a lot of things in this first episode of the season, and it was so great ! Because, first of these things, they made a real connection between the last episode of season 1 and this one, with real consequences… What do I say since episodes ? I want that ! And again, we also have Rick showing a little more of himself : he spent six entire months with his grandkids, only with them, so he can say as he wants he doesn't like them, I don't believe it.

And the fact he was ready to sacrifice himself for Morty proves it. In review, I also talked about the fact that after that, we saw him who wants to live in fact, to not give up, and I understood during that moment that for some episodes I had the impression the character didn't care that much about his own life. Maybe because of things he said, maybe because he doesn't care about danger in general, I don't know, but I had that feeling. Also unexpected to see Jerry and Beth having fun together, after a first season in which they were many times close to break up.
