Ok, so Rui was not really dead. And clearly, I was shocked by the news, again afraid for Tanjiro and Nezuko but luckily, Giyu arrived and saved the day. And he did it like it was nothing, something to do between blowing his nose and cleaning his teeth. Like also Shinobu who killed the sister. Without a sword, and that was a real surprise for me, that wisteria poison, but why not ! Oh and yes, I finally understood she was not the one who passed the test with our guys.

I didn't expect at all that second part of the episode, discovering the story around that pretend family. Even if it seems logical now that I know more about this anime : if we kill a demon, we're gonna discover how he was during his real life. Turns out here that we can't : Rui doesn't remember his life, and that's why he doesn't know what real genuine bonds are. He forced people to be his family but he was using them, torturing them.
