I predicted after the last episode that when Tanjiro would meet this demon, it would be beautiful. Because the writers created a real atmosphere around her, her appearance but also the musics, that spider ability… I knew their attention wouldn't be like for other fights before on Tanjiro fighting hard like with the arrow demon or the mansion one, that here it would be about creating a moment. And I was right. But I didn't know how magnificent it would be, and the fact that they would get me with it.

Yes, I had some tears here, because that Mother demon accepted her death to be finally free of that family that she was afraid of, because of Tanjiro seeing it and deciding to give her a death without any pain… It was so respectful (again), for him, to do that. Even before, they had me a little, with these poor demon slayers who were still alive but forced to kill each other, to be finally sacrificed so easily. That's something with me : I found that demon cruel and I know she had to be killed, but still I felt so sad for her that I cried.
