The end of this episode totally surprised me. Not because of Rick's decision : for sure, the guy would have given up on this reality where everything is destroyed, everyone is transformed and he doesn't seem to find a solution, to go on a reality where he knows he can take the place of the versions of themselves, already dead. But I was shocked the writers would make us see how much Morty was disturbed by : seeing himself dead, knowing he left his world dying and being a part of that reality he's not belonging to.

I would have hoped to have consequences of it in the next episodes but with a show like that, I knew it wouldn't happen. And it was not the real message of this episode, it was more about the flu, how contagious it can be, so quickly etc. I really had the impression the subject was here the c.O.*.i.D, but no, I checked in review, this episode was out way sooner, like years before it. Well done, writers, well done.
