To have A-Train back from the dead, it was surprising but knowing he's gonna live all of his life with this racist heart is a good punishment (for what he did, to good guys, but also according to Vought to them). To have Deep doing disgusting stuff, we're used to it. To have MM punching Homelander's favorite fan, same. To have Kimiko choosing to have her powers back, we saw it coming and I just love how the others support her with that.

But all of the things with Hughie, Butcher, Soldier Boy and Homelander, that was really the climax of the episode and I think of the season so far. Because Hughie finally comes back to reason, seeing how bad Soldier Boy is and doing anything not for the mission, but for saving Butcher. Because we have these memories with Butcher to understand where he came from, and the fact that he acts clearly like his dad. But he doesn't learn from his mistakes : your brother killed himself and you feel guilty about it, but you're not saying anything to Hughie who is killing himself by taking the temporary V. And Soldier Boy, discovering THE truth, saying it to Homelander… Amazing. Epic. So much more than Herogasm.
