Hello !

That's it, this anime had my first tears with this episode, and I love how they had me : I said in intro that I saw a moral dilemma about killing demons who can talk and can feel/have emotions, have a past and could have a future (if we are following Tanjiro's dream for Nezuko), so to have here memories of a demon… Yes, at some point, he was a little kid, who was afraid of the dark, who had loved ones. I loved how compassionate Tanjiro was during this moment.

He evolved : right there, his emotions are not blocking him, he knows he has to kill the demons attacking him, he's strong, but still we can see that he's sad to do it, even more because they don't have answers to give him. All of the process around the sword was interesting, but not enough details for me : the special steel, it's coming from where ? How do you explain the change of color ? What black means ? Maybe the answers are gonna come later. The only default I find right now to the anime, it's the lack of scenes only for the characters, to express their emotions, to show their evolutions.
