I was surprised that the last episode rushed so much action, so I was glad that this one came back to how they planned this big moment but also decided to work together. And, even more important, to explain how difficult it can be for them : because they were enemies and for some deep moral reasons, that here considering the enemy as an ally has to be really rough ; but also because they lived together a lot of bad stuff, personal stories, and the relationship is all about anger and desire of revenge.

Like, if you have been there since the beginning of my binge watching, you know how much I suffered when Marco died, then when we discovered how really, so for Jean to discover it right there… The moment with Gaby was so powerful and meaningful : for her to feel sorry, for her and Falco to beg for Jean's help (like they did before for Reiner's help), for Jean to accept. Annie also asked a real question, about who would kill Eren if they would need to. My answer : Jean. During the fighting moments, he's taking the lead, he's pushing them to fight (like with Pixies), he's the less emotional. For that, Jean is the real heir of Levi.
