I'm fully honest with you guys : I guessed that this guy was One and killed these kids, not Eleven ; and I know something created Vecna, that there was a story behind it. I even saw these parallels that they made during the editing of the episode by putting Eleven and Vecna in parallel so many times. But I would have never made the connection between One, Victor's son and Vecna. But in the end, it seems so logical. And yes, Eleven killed him and because of that, she opened a gate and made him Vecna. You noticed that during this fight, for her, a loving memory was more powerful than all of these angry memories ? I think it's gonna help to finish Vecna.

This episode contained what I thought : discovering Eleven's full flashback but also having Hopper FINALLY free, after 7 episodes. The reunion with Joyce was really beautiful, I felt it so much, like he was home you know… So imagine how it's gonna be when he's gonna be reunited with Eleven. But are we gonna have it this season ? At least, can she know he's alive ? The fact that Nancy saw all of One's story is gonna help for the two last episodes, to not put some explanatory moments between characters when Eleven is gonna be back.
