Hello !

Me before the trailer : "Because we have the movie after that, this season is gonna be epic but maybe not as melancholic". Me after the trailer : "I already cried !!". This trailer contains everything that I can expect for the last season of this show, to say goodbye to it : from the things viewers love a lot with "Destiny is all" and ending it by going to Bebbanburg, to the big story and a lot of historic events/fights. And for sure, the main story : Uthred facing Brida.

They have been the two main characters of this show since day one, their relationship is one of the main narrative arcs and they evolved around/because of it. They have been against each other for a long time, but here we can see that a limit is gonna be crossed (Brida attacking Uthred's bloodline, would be logical and heartbreaking for both, considering their background together) and that they're gonna fight for good. Because of personal reasons but also because it's their destinies. It's logical, what the writers prepared for seasons now, but it's destroying me in advance.
