Two episodes in a row that I love a lot. Ok, the last one is on the top of the top of my list because of all of the reveals and actions we had into it. But this one is clearly on my top 3 because of the mood of it which was so different than usual. Yes, it was almost a silent episode, with L knowing that he might die and letting Light understand that he knows it and that he knows that it will come from him.

I don't know how to interpret that memory, I have so many theories about it, including this one that I'm so glad that I shared in the comments with Arriana some days ago as a proof. A Bruce Wayne's past for L, like his parents were rich, died and that's why he's rich, and officially he's dead and that's why no one cares about him now. I loved the "washing feet" moment, it was so symbolic, for their relationship but also as a religious symbol.
